Life can be difficult at times.

There are times when life gets harder and harder to deal with, all the drama that comes our way everyday can be over whelming at times. It is in times such as these that we must hold on to the promises that God has given us to get us through times such as these. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for you, and there are times that we must fight the fight, just remember what the Paul told us in Ephesians 6:10 – 13

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

With our faith being the anchor we will make it through these storms no matter how long they last, God will be there with us and will guide our path.

When God calls do you ALWAYS answer???

In today’s world, with every phone having caller ID, we sometimes chose to let calls go to Voice Mail if we are trying to avoid having a conversation with a certain person, or we just do not want to deal with certain issues that we know we will have to if we answer.

Let us look back to the 1st time God called someone. Genesis 3: 8-10. 8Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

As we see in verse 8 both heard the phone ringing (so to speak), but were TRYING to avoid the person looking for them. In today’s world, it is easy to not answer our phone, reply to an email or text.

But as we see in verse 9 God is not going to stop calling/looking for us. You see God did not need to call out to Adam and Eve because He is all knowing so, therefore, He knew where they were and why they were avoiding Him.

In verse 10 we see they answered, this is the 1st step we must take on our part to resolve any conflict/problem we have with God or others. Sometimes when God is calling us, we do not want to answer because we know He wants us to answer a call to ministry that is outside our comfort zone. However, trust me when I say God is not going to stop calling because you do not want to enlarge your comfort zone.

Are you where God has called you too? Are you doing what He asks of you? Are you on your way to where He showed you to go? Is there someone whom you need to call?

God has a wonderful plan for your life, He really does, and you can count on it.

God Will Give You PEACE

Philippians 4: 4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. When We Ask God For Help


How many times do we ask God for wisdom, help with a problem, a new job, or a better car?
We often seek God help/wisdom and then doubt that He will answer our request. God has a personal relationship with each believer, and He hears every request you make. Therefore, you should have FAITH that He will answer your prayers; because He knows when the right time to bless you is.

The 1st Chapter of the book of James, we see what we should do when after we pray.
James 1:5-7 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. However, when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

There is a Hymn that says we must TRUST and OBEY for there is no other way to be happy. It is much easier to trust God and follow Him when we read our Bible daily.


Life can be difficult

Sometimes life can be so difficult that we ask your self why is God letting this happen to me. Many times, we will never know the answer, but we can know that in these times He is there to take care of us and to comfort us.

In Matthew Chapter 11 Jesus tells us what to do during these times in our life.
Verses 28 - 30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18, Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
It can be difficult to say Praise The Lord when things are falling apart all around you. However, when you do praise Him in these times, your circumstances will not seam so over whelming. TRUST Him and He will deliver you out of the darkness.


Peter Addresses the Crowd

“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.

But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

David said about him: “‘I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let your holy one see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’ Acts 2: 22-28


God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit

We do however speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden, and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”  the things God has prepared for those who love him these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2: 6-10

We should always ask our selves are we living our life so that others see God in us. You might just be that person that someone sees God through you. Always live your life in view of eternity.

In chapter 22 of Revelation 6 - 11, we see John response when he saw what eternity looked like.

The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.” “Look, I ...am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right, and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm, therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, 19 and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:10-20
